Your Voice Belongs Here

There is something powerful about a woman putting her thoughts into words and realizing that someone else needed to hear them. Maybe you have spent years building a career and have lessons worth sharing. Maybe you have a perspective on relationships, beauty, wellness, money, business, culture, or life in Savannah that deserves a wider audience. Maybe you have a personal story that taught you something you wish someone had told you sooner. Or maybe you simply love to write and have an idea that you cannot stop thinking about. Whatever brought you here, Savannah Woman is a place for women with something to say.

We believe a magazine should be more than something you read. It should be a conversation, and the best conversations happen when different women bring their experiences, perspectives, expertise, and voices to the table. That is why we welcome contributors who can help us tell the many stories of Savannah and the women who call this city home. Our contributors may be entrepreneurs, professionals, creatives, community leaders, writers, experts, or simply women with a compelling perspective and a story worth sharing.

What Can You Write About?

Savannah Woman covers the conversations that matter to women today, from the deeply personal to the beautifully practical. We are interested in stories about life in Savannah, relationships, personal growth, entrepreneurship, business and money, beauty and fashion, health and wellness, culture, community, travel, creativity, career, and the experiences that shape us.

We also love the unexpected. A fresh perspective on something everyone thinks they already understand. A personal essay that makes a reader stop and think. A local discovery worth knowing about. A lesson learned the hard way. A conversation about something women rarely say out loud. The goal is not simply to fill a page. It is to create something that makes a woman feel informed, inspired, understood, entertained, or perhaps a little less alone.

Who We’re Looking For

You do not need to be a professional writer to contribute to Savannah Woman. What matters most is having a clear voice, an interesting perspective, and something worthwhile to share. We welcome experienced writers as well as women who have never published an article before but have a story or idea they believe belongs here.

We are particularly interested in contributors who can bring authenticity and personality to their writing. We want to hear from women with different backgrounds, careers, experiences, ages, interests, and perspectives because Savannah is not one story. It is many stories unfolding at the same time.

Have an Idea?

You do not need to arrive with a finished article. If you have an idea for a story but are not sure where it belongs, tell us about it. A strong idea can become a personal essay, a reported feature, a helpful guide, a thoughtful opinion piece, or a story about a woman, business, place, or experience that deserves attention.

Before submitting, consider what you want the reader to feel, learn, or think about when they reach the end of your story. The strongest pieces usually begin with something specific and honest, then open the door to something bigger.

Your voice does not have to be the loudest in the room to matter. It simply has to be yours.
